Yes! Different types of stickers require different application methods but all are easy providing you follow the simple instructions.
In most cases yes but you may find an extra pair of hands useful if you are applying large strapline stickers or sunstrips.
Depending on what type of sticker you are applying will dictate what tools you need. To cover most scenarios we would recommend a household water spray, some masking tape and a sharp knife (for trimming the excess away from sunstrips) The only item we would recommend you buy is a good quality felt squeegee
As the only company licensed to print Le Mans stickers, we take great pride in using only top-quality materials from trusted manufacturers such as 3M, Avery, and Hexis. These premium materials are specifically designed for vehicle applications, ensuring durability and reliability. To achieve the best results, please follow these simple guidelines:
While we ensure the highest quality materials, we cannot guarantee the condition of the surfaces they are applied to. As such, stickers are applied at your own risk, and we cannot accept responsibility for any potential damage caused to paintwork.
Yes! So easy in fact. All you need to do is apply some heat (either a heat-gun on a low setting or by pouring very hot water over the sticker) which will soften the adhesive to reduce the tension when you pull the sticker off. If you soften the adhesive enough then the sticker will come away with virtually no effort.
Yes, it is generally safe to apply car stickers over ceramic
coatings, but there are some important considerations to keep in mind:
1. Sticker Adhesion
Ceramic coatings create a slick and hydrophobic surface, which might make it a bit harder for stickers to adhere properly. Before application, make sure the surface is clean by using a pH-neutral shampoo and you will find that your StickeredUp4LeMans sticker will stick without any issues.
2. Ease of Removal
Stickerscan usually be removed easily from ceramic-coated surfaces without leaving residue or damaging the coating, as the slickness of the coating prevents strong adhesion.
3. Coating Integrity
The ceramic coating should already be fully cured before applying stickers. Applying stickers to an uncured coating could damage the coating and affect its performance.
Tips for Best Results:
Clean the area with a pH-neutral car shampoo and ensure it’s free of dirt or oils before applying the sticker.
Use a heat gun or hair dryer gently when removing stickers to soften the adhesive and minimize any risk to the coating.
We wouldn't advise applying stickers over PPF (Paint protection film), or vinyl wraps, as you won't be able to remove the stickers without damaging the films.
WD40 is excellent at removing adhesive, or you could use a product such as Gtechniq Tar & Glue remover - available here
YES! We now have a system in place that will allow us to ship directly into Europe using the IOSS scheme.
StickeredUp4LeMans Ltd is IOSS registered, which means you won't have to pay import taxes or duties for orders shipped to the European Union as long as the total before shipping is below the €150+VAT* threshold. This allows you to add up to €150+VAT* worth of items to your basket without incurring additional taxes when your order arrives in your country. Note that shipping charges are separate and don't count toward the threshold.
Our prices are displayed including VAT for all EU countries by default. If the total of the items in your cart is below €150+VAT*, the VAT amount will be shown at checkout. However, if your basket exceeds €150+VAT*, the prices at checkout will be displayed without VAT, and no VAT total will be visible. If the prices you see at checkout are lower than what you previously saw, it means your cart has surpassed the threshold, and you are now viewing prices that exclude VAT. In this case, the correct import tax rate will be charged when your order arrives in your country.
If, for any reason, you are charged import taxes for orders below €150+VAT*, please contact us immediately, and we will provide you with an electronic invoice showing that the correct VAT has already been paid. You can then pass this invoice to the customs authorities.
We offer a limited number of custom jobs from September to April. Due to high demand, we are unable to accommodate custom requests from May onwards as our resources are fully dedicated to fulfilling orders.
There is no cut-off date for ordering off-the-shelf products (anything listed in the main categories of this website). However, please keep in mind that delays can occasionally occur within the postal or courier network, so we strongly advise against leaving your order until the last minute. As we approach Le Mans, we recommend choosing a 'Next Day' delivery option to ensure your items arrive on time.
